Write The Story Of Your Dreams

man, write, plan

Write the story of your dreams article takes a look at how creative writers can focus on what makes their writing become meaningful and create their reality. Many writers on a variety of platforms write for others rather than themselves. There have been debates over the articles geared for monetization versus those that are the writer’s passion. I try to combine the two. However, my monthly merger payouts might buy me a cup of coffee! I’m ok with that for now. Developing my craft while exploring topics that excite me is my motivation.

Journaling is and always has been my therapy. Although I am a visual artist, expressing myself through words is more powerful and fulfilling. Many of us journal as a way to brainstorm as well. In an entry about our experiences, we may develop an idea for an article or book. Recently, I engaged in a meditation in which the instructor taught us about “flow writing.” This is when you spontaneously write without stopping, censoring, or analyzing something. It becomes brain-dumping. Get it out, and you’ll feel better!

Take your journal to another dimension.

I am a spiritual seeker and adhere to the fact that our thoughts and feelings create our reality. The law of attraction is the real deal; the concept works as I have had small successes. Write the story of your dreams approach is a concrete way to see your intentions.

As writers, we can utilize the law of attraction concept with our personal goals. Harness the power of your potential through Scripting, a Law of Attraction technique that enables you to bring the reality you have been dreaming about into existence. We can explore and articulate precisely what resonates with our desires through creative writing — bringing them from an idea into tangible manifestation.

Our words and actions reflect our inner landscape, potentially dictating what we can bring into reality. Scripting is an effective manifestation technique rooted in the pioneering ideas from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) back in the 1970s. It encourages individuals to build vivid mental images with all five senses for envisioning their future. According to Mindset & Manifestation Coach Laura Herde, “scripting helps us take ownership over how to define ourselves and manifest that definition,” — allowing us to tap more profound levels of consciousness within ourselves, so possibilities abound!

A scripting journal

Get yourself a unique journal for scripting. Make this journal one you can easily have as you go about your day.

Scripting is a powerful tool for accessing the subconscious mind and unlocking our potential. It takes goal-setting to another level by writing in the present tense as if your objectives have already been accomplished, transforming pessimistic inaction into optimistic action that creates opportunities previously unseen.

Through scripting, you can create an empowering aura of positive emotion. Express joy and happiness while writing to achieve the most effective results — a great reminder that it’s not just about endless lists but also harnessing meaningful energy!

Jim Carrey’s incredible manifestation story is an inspiring example of dreams coming true. He wrote himself a check for $10,000,000 and received it in real life when he landed the starring role in Dumb and Dumber — with “acting services rendered” written at the bottom!

Different ways to script

  1. Write a story in the first person about a goal you achieved (in reality, you are working on it). Include all the details in the scene, but more important add emotions of joy, success, and fulfillment.
  2. Write a movie script. This can be fun taking the words and “seeing” the scene. Scripting in this manner is especially good for those who may have difficulties with traditional visualization. You can add “characters” of your choosing. They can be real people in your life or made up. Importantly, they speak to you as if you have achieved your goals. Such as, “Hey, you look fantastic after losing all that weight!”
  3. Make yourself the narrator and write in the third person. Even though you are writing about yourself, you are taking a different vantage point. This can be an exciting twist to try.
  4. Add a little art with the words! Your journal has fun ways to add doodles, emojis, and colors to your entries. Try different colored pens to emphasize feelings or emotions. Or create symbols that represent success. The sky’s the limit!

Final thoughts

While scripting is only one tool for manifesting. Many others can also enhance your practices. Visualization is compelling. Affirmations and meditations are super-enhancers. However, the main thing to remember while practicing the law of attraction is to be grateful for what you already have. This act produces an effect that will align you properly for manifesting your goals. Don’t give up! We all have days when all seems hopeless but remember, we are creators, and our minds can bring us up or drop us down. I can attest to both!
